    I found out something today that shocked me...

    I had an appointment with my fertility specialist today and she told me that when a woman is 39-40 around 90 percent of her remaining eggs have chromosomal defects.

    Not sure!! But she is one of the top specialists in Melbourne so I figure she knows these things

    I knew it was a lot, just didn't know it was this many!!

    Wow, that is scary stuff. I feel like ringing my FS and asking him what he thinks! lol. Seriously I think I'll do that now, you've stressed me out!!!! lol.

    It's not only that they are greatly diminished in number but the quality of 90per cent or so will not produce a viable pregnancy. That's why it is so freakin hard to have a baby when you are an old chook like me
