    Hi -

OK this may sound a bit gross, but there are two things you can look for on your own.
1- clear cervical mucus. This means that during the time you are ovulating, the "stuff" you are passing down there, will be clear and stretchy if you put it between your fingers, this is to help the sperm travel to the correct location! After ovulation, it will go yellowy and pastie.
2- some people get ovulation pain. This is usually only on one side and can feel crampy or sore. Not everyone gets this. Oh, you can also monitor your temp. It goes slightly down b4 ovulation and then spikes right up after. A digital themometer is best as you will be able to see the slightest variation.

    Hope this helps honey!

    Hi

I would recommend you read up on and start charting - including taking temperature - I didn't know much about it either and didn't notice the small changes my body gave me until I knew what I was actually looking for and could give things a name!!!

Some people also get a pain or a stitch - hopefully your cycle is pretty regular so it shouldn't be too hard for you

    Good luck!

Try to get a copy of 'The Billings Method" book, or google it and find some of the great sites which detail how to chart. Once you've been doing it for a few months you'll find it quite easy to predict!

I'd have to agree with Oli's mum. My GYN said it's the most effective way of knowing when you're ovulating.

    Good luck!

Hi, I found that a really good starting point was signing up for fertility friend (just google it) and signing up for their email course. It's all free and it teaches you how to look for all your fertile signs and chart them. I have been temping for 8 months and I actually really enjoy it.

    Good luck!!!
