I just tested!! HELP!!

And.... i'm confused at the result. There is a faint line but me and my partner dont know if it the under laying line that will appear if there is a positive or shouldnt there be a line at all if its negative???

if the line came up within the stated time frame, I would say CONGRATS! I only ever got a flase neg after the 10 mins.

If the line is slightly coloured the same as the control line, even if its faint then its a BFP. Sometimes a slight shadow of where a line would be can come up but it wont have any colour to it.

Dp is trying to get a photo that shows the line, while im sitting here completely speechless and my first reaction is to tell everybody and cry but i know i shouldnt.

My fear is when i re test it will be negative.. how likely is it that it will? or if its positive its a positive? im so confused right now.

Providing it's not an evaporation line, which it shouldn't be if it came up within the specified time, i would say a line is a line

I worried about that as well, so I tested 4 times in one day
Try again tomorrow morning (first wee of the day) and see if the line appears again.

In all the tests I've ever done, if it was negative there was no line there at all, so I would say congrats
Maybe do another test with FMU tomorrow to get a clearer result?

if the line came up within the testing time frame (as in read before eg 10mins) then it doesnt matter how faint it is, its a +

give it 24 hrs and retest in the morning, good luck

Wow - looks like congratulations are in order!!

DP went out 5 mins later and bought 2 different brands and I peed on all 6 sticks.

Wow, i hope it's a big congratulations for you when you retest!!

just wanted to let you know that I did my research on different brands available to me, and First Response is more sensitive than Pregnosis. So perhaps you could grab the more sensitive test and try that one on your FMU??? At least if it is a positive, the line will be a little stronger ???

I was just reading the booklet again and it says occasionally a "shadow" can show up after 10 mins but the line definitely was there like 3 mins after i tested. ill test in a few days to be doubley sure. By then it should be darker. I'm just half expecting for the next one to be negative.. i cant afford to test after this next one i cant even afford to go see my doctor..
