Too early??

Hi all

I am on CD 26 and my cycles are between 26 and 29 days (usually 27 days)
Today I have had sore boobs which i never have with AF. They are also really hot.
My DH and I only DTD unprotected once on CD18 (got carried away oops!! lol) but I thought I would have ovulated before then??
I did a HPT this morning and it was Neg.
Would I be getting a positive test 2 days before AF is due if I was pregnant?

Not necessarily... I know of some people who didn't get a positive test until 1-2 weeks after AF was due. I would re-test if AF doesn't arrive when it usually would.

not always. I didn't get a BFP until 6ish weeks with DD.

If you DTD late then obviously it would have implanted late and therefore the hormone wouldn't have had as much time to increase as if you had DTD beforehand, caught the egg right when you O'ed and it had implanted earlier.

I'll give it some time and see if AF comes. If not i'll try testing next week.
My boobs also feel very hot. It is quite strange
