implantation bleeding? umm is this possible?

Sadly my beautiful little boy Chase was stillborn on 24 December 2010 at 22 weeks. Am going to stop on this part of things now before i start bawling.

Anyway... i bled postpartum from 24 December until approx 7 January, so 2 weeks. On 10 January my Husband and i resumed having sex... we have not been using protection because we are hoping to fall pregnant soon and finally have a healthy baby we get to take home from hospital. Anyway, we have been having sex every 2 days or so (funny how my sex drive is suddenly better than it's ever been).. anyway TMI, sorry, on 27 January i noticed a tiny pink steak of blood on my toilet paper and i got excited coz i thought i was starting my period and that meant my cycle was back so perhaps in 2 weeks i would ovulate. Today i noticed a tiny bit of pink blood on my knickers - not even the size of a 5 cent piece. I am starting to wondering if it is humanly possible that this is implantation bleeding? I haven't had any other bleeding in past 3 weeks aside from these 2 tiny bits. I know they say you are super fertile after childbirth but really? this fertile? Any thoughts?

I would say anything is possible, I have heard of that happening many times before (thats how lots of people end up with bubs so close to each other!), but maybe try and keep an open mind about it, just in case it is the end of your blood loss after birth. I know with my DS I had a couple of weeks break from bleeding, and then I had it come back a little, and then go again.

I am really sorry for your loss, and wish you lots of love in your new TTC process. Make sure you take some time to rest for you too. xoxo

It is possible. But it is possible that you body is still recovering from the birth of your son. I am sorry to hear about your loss.

Thanks ladies. Yeah we are not banking on it. It could be the start of my period too. I had never been pregnant before so i am not really sure what to expect with the first period anyway. Either way, i see this blood as a good sign of something haha

Yep, exactly, at least you know your body is working through the process!
