I would suggest looking at the fertilityfriend website to help you pin-point when ovulation it. But I wouldn't be too worried, it's probably just because of breastfeeding. Good luck!!

Sherie, I'm the same as you. First time with both previous bubs. This time we're up to 3rd month, and only difference is age and BF.

I did a thread on BF and TTC - there's a few things which may help you https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...ut-bf-ttc.html

I'm actually finding it hard to pinpoint ovulation and I'm not actually sure if BF can throw that out a bit. I have regular cycle but not convinced that the ovulation is regular within that cycle.

Hope we both find the right answers for us!

i can understand the hormone levels in the first 6 months but i didnt expect they would still be high after introduction of food etc and cutting down feeds?
j is only feeding morning and night and maybe middle of the day, he has had top up formular once a day since 8 months,
im a bag of hormones most days but didnt think bf would have such an effect this late into it J will be 2 on the 20th dec
i checked out the other threads but they didnt do it for me yet?
    great website thanks guys

I doubt your age has anything to do with it. Fertility does not decline significantly until you get to around 35. Even after that it doesn't necessarily decline - I had 3 unassisted pregnancies at the age of 41.

If you are having regular cycles you are probably Oing regularly as well, but perhaps not timing things well. If you are not already doing so start charting and then you can concentrate your efforts to the most fertile time.

Breast feeding could also be affecting things.

Above all else remember that it is perfectly normal to take up to 12 months to conceive.
