Red face A long wait and looking for ideas.

The first time I fell pregnant I did not test until I AF still harn't showed up for a second time and that was a BFP.
When I fell preg with DS I had a test done at 6w and 9w, the first was one done at the hospital and was a BFN (I had done my own about a week before as well with a BFN) but the 9w test was a BFP and two weeks later I had an ultrasound with a 11w2d baby
I think I am 7w tomorrow and really want to know for certain (all the signs point to a bfp) but I know that for me it is still too soon to test.
Does anyone know of any "old wives tales" ways to tell if you are pregnant, I don't care if they have been proven accurate or not I still want to try them out.
Also how long did it take you to get a BFP and is there anyone that has had to wait as long as me or even longer?

I would think by 7 weeks you would get a positive on an HPT. Maybe try a few different brands if AF is that late. I got my BFP at 3 1/2 weeks! Sorry I don't know any tricks, just keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Should I wait and see if I have again or get my hopes up even more by trying a test and risking an early
I have some early detection tests coming that I ordered online, they will be here by next Friday.
Plus I want to have a bit of fun with the old wives tales and see how it goes.

I done a test but the result is VERY faint if it is really there at all so I am still unsure when I should test :S but still looking for the old wives tales.

    Hi,
I can definately see the faintest of lines. They generally say that even a faint line is still a positive, and I'd say seeing as you still havent gotten AF and your going on 7 weeks that you pregnant.
Im gunna say a big congrats!! Fingers crossed its a sticky bub!!!
