    Question Lunar Conception??

    Hi All,
I have been reading up on a rather obscure topic of late- lunar conception. I found a website where you can enter your date and time of birth, and according to the positioning of the moon in the lunar cycle at the time you were born, it calculates your next most likely times to conceive, according to when the moon will be in that phase of the lunar cycle again. Seems really strange, I know, but apparently many cultures have used this method for centuries to conceive and avoid pregnancy.....plus scientists have already proven the relationship between menstrual cycles and the moon (as the moon effects the tides, and all bodies of water).

So- I was quite skeptical, but the results gave me the next most fertile day as Sun the 28th of this month, which happens to be day 14 of my cycle, and also the day that I have highlighted in my diary as the day to start TTC....... I'm quite amazed actually.
According to the method, the lunar cycle does not always work in sync with ovulation, and there have been cases of women falling pregnant during their lunar phase, at times during their cycle when conventional science is unable to explain it. But apparently, when the lunar cycle coincides with ovulation, there is a VERY high chance that you will conceive. The theory also states that, if a child is conceived during the period of a positive star sign (aries, gemini, leo, libra, sagittarius and aquarius) you are more likely to conceive a boy, and if conception occurs in the period of a negative star sign (cancer, taurus, scorpio, capricorn, virgo, pisces) you are more likely to conceive a girl. (Negative and positive does not refer to negative and positive people, by the way!! Just some cosmos thing I'm not all that familiar with!!). I've no idea how true this is either, but I did conceive my boy under the Gemini sign, which supports the theory.

So- I would love to hear from people who have tested this theory- and what your findings were- true or false!!
Oh, and for those who know- the one thing I was wondering was, I was born ceasarian- artificially induced before my due date due to 'complications' (whatever) anyway- so how does that effect my date and time of birth? Is it still the time I was actually brought into the world, or the date I would have likely been born had the pregnancy not been interrupted?
    Thanks!!
    X

    Im interested in this too.
My old GP said modern science had alot to catch up on in regards to fertility. She had numerous woman at her clinic who had concieved at time they were 'not suppose to', and she believed it was linked in with the moon etc.

hey jelly bean im no Buff on astrology let alone lunar conception. but i do know that the time/date/location of your birth (even if induced) is the star sign you are. (plus you also have your sun sign, moon sign...and a whole heap of other factors such as 'houses' that play a part in 'star signs')

as for the moon and menturation - before i was on BC i used to be able to time my (3 week) cycles with the moon and its phases, but with the use of BC and then stopping it i hadnt quite got back into the 'swing' of things when blip was consived...so i cant really comment about consiveing eather weather it's true that if you conseve under a posative (male i think) or negative (female...i think it is...) sign as to weather it affects the sex of the child. i know that can be dependant on when conseption happens (earlyer or later as the sperm most likely to conseive a female conseption happens earlier after ovulation where as male conseption happens when later after ovulation...KWIM?)

So thats my 2cents. and what little i know about it.
i hope that may have helped...
