Luteal phase and HPT

Hi girls,
Just wondered about this, this morning after a HTP at 11dpo (bfn). The brand of HPT I used was "Confirm" which advertises "test for pregnancy as early as 5 days before your missed period" - my luteal phase I *THINK* is 12 days, and my AF is due on Tuesday. I'm trying not to get too down about the BFN this morning and holding onto some hope... but I was wondering if a claim like "Confirm's" could still be accurate for people who have a luteal phase of 12 days??

I'd assume that implantation/time for BFP hormones to register on HPT would be the same for any woman regardless of luteal phase length... in which case it might just be that I tested too early. What do you girls think ?

Deni, I'm sorry I don't know, but I wouldn't loose heart until AF arrives. Test again on Wednesday if no AF.
I'm always testing before AF due - begining to cost a bit with all the wasted HPTs!! Patients is not my strong point! LOL!

Hold you head up high honey dont get down i did a hpt at 11dpo and got bfn with my pg, tested on 15dpo and got a BFP.. Hold in there im testing Tuesday morning hold off till then and we can be peeing on the stick together LOL... Just give it a couple of days so you dont get disappointed..
