Well me and DP have been ttc for a bit now just doing the dtd all the time
I've done what a friend suggested and did the whole checking the CM for stretchness and its around day 10 of my cycle. My cycle is 28 days long. regular.
Me being nieve and seeing as Izzy was such an easy suprise (we were'nt doing any ttc just not using protection) I was told a month before i conceived with izzy that i wouldnt be able to have children because i have a subsebtate uterus (well how wrong was that doctor haha) he found it due to me having problems with my periods so sent me for a ultrasound...
When i was pregnant with Izzy she was on the left side of my uterus (my uterus splits into two with the whole subsebtate thingy) does that have any negative effect on concieving another one?
So we thought that this time would be that easy just stop using protection and bubs would come But not happening.
So the question i would like to ask is how do to do all this ttcing? how do you chart cycles, how do you do temping? what else should we be doing? We put the pillow underneath. We dtd from day 8 to about day 15 (we like dtd hehe), is there anythign i should be eating, or not eating?
What will help... Or should i stop being such a worry wart and just let it happen when it happens?!?!
Dont know about the uterus sorry but maybe try temping? You could use the website fertilityfriend it will show you how to temp and all that jaz, all you'll need is a fertility thermometor (from the chemist, the normal ones dont work properly) and the website.
I guess you might need to do your research when it comes to what to and not to eat. There are some great sites, you might even find all you need on this website.
DTD on the days you said is pretty much covering it, especially since you have a regular 28 day cycle. A really good book to read is "Taking Charge of Your Fertility", it's awesome for getting to know your body. Temping is easy, especially if you wake up at around the same time every morning. It helps you pinpoint when you are ovulating. And can be somewhat addictive lol I love knowing what my body is doing. As for food, just eating healthy is good enough. You can start taking a pre-conception vitamin to give yourself a boost aswell. Something with lots of folate in it is good. Or a cheaper option is just a basic womans multi-vitamin. Thats what i take.

With the temping (going to sound really dumb now) But do you actually put the temp down there... And at what time of the day is best to do it... What brand should i buy? is there anyway you ladies have found it easy?

my son was a surprise ( a pleasent one)
and now im TTC and its doing my head...i followed the other ladies i got a chart online and went from there...guessing game lol the joy
