    Newbie and a question!

    Hi!

I'm new here and just have a question for those more experienced than I.
I'm not actively TTC, as I have irregular cycles and PCOS, I've been told multiple times that I will in all likelihood need assistance to conceive when I want to.

This cycle has been a little strange though. My cycles range from 12(!) to 75 days long, although standard is between 18-26. I don't ever know when or if I ovulate.

A rough timeline of this cycle -
    CD1 - 15/8

Intercourse (unprotected) - 22,23,29,30/8 and 15, 16/9. My partner works away, hence the gap.

So I'm now at CD34, no sign of my period at all. In the last week or so though, I have been experiencing major fatigue (ready for bed at 7pm, despite sleeping 8-10 hours), really hungry, more clear discharge than normal, and some nipple soreness. I've not had any nausea, cramping or actual breast pain though.

So I guess I'm just after opinions? Is it possible given the above dates that I'm pregnant or am I just losing the plot? When would be a good time to test given irregular cycles?

If any of the August dates have done the job, a pregnancy should show on a home pregnancy test by now. Good luck

    Hi, and welcome to BB

By 30 August, you've definitely had time to ovulate and your timing would be right. And by now, another 16 days later, a positive should definitely show on a test. Good luck!

Welcome to BB. I agree with the other replies. If you are having a shorter cycle this month and fell pregnant from the first DTD period when your partner was home a HPT should be accurate by now.

    Thank you ladies
I haven't gotten to the shops yet (evening shift at work!), but I will tomorrow hopefully.

I had some bright red spotting tonight, not enough for a liner even. Thought it was my period, but it stopped. Spotting isn't usual for me, but I think it would be too late for implantation bleeding?

    Got a negative yesterday.
Thought my period started yesterday as well, but it was just another bit of spotting. Have had pink/brown spotting (light) for 2.5 days now. I never usually spot.
So, not pregnant and no period. Just to be confusing!

I'm no expert on implantation, so no idea when that happens and when you would expect spotting. But you have long cycles, so if you did ovulate later and have caught the egg, you're not going to get a positive on a test yet but possibly you're implanting? I've no idea 3-4 days is too soon for that.
