No EWCM for 3months... No ovulation?? Cycle all over the place!

I don't know what is going on with my body! I am usually a regular 28 dayer... even to the hour!
I had a missed m/c in June and needed to have a D&C. I had really bad pain after the D&C which did not feel 'right' to me. I have had a couple of D&C's in the past but with this one i was in agony afterwards. Since then my cycle has been all over the place! I have not had any EWCM for the last 3 months.. CM has been consistently 'creamy-sticky'. I have had what i think was 'O' pain but can't be sure.
I have started charting using P tracker on my iPhone. I have no idea what i am doing, and am probably doing it wrong! A few questions...

Can i use a normal digital thermometer? What is the best time to do my observations?
Can you still ovulate without having changes in your CM? I have also been checking my cervix which has been higher, softer and more open over the last few days.

DH was home all weekend so we got a bit of BDing in but he has now gone back to work for a week so i hope we caught the eggie... if there was one!
AF came a week early last month and 3 days early this month. I am on CD13 today.

Sorry this post is a bit all over the place but i don't really know what to do! I am scared that the D&C has done some damage. I am thinking of going to my GP to be referred to a specialist. I am really ready to add to our family now.. i would have been 28 weeks yesterday

Does anyone have any advice for me?

    TIA x

In my experience I have ovulated without noticeable EWCM. In fact I can not use CM at all to help keep track of my cycle. Only way I can keep track is to temp, I have a digital basal body temp thermometer which I use every morn (previously ttc but currently as natural family planning). It is a special thermometer which has much greater accuracy to a normal thermometer. The fertility friend website is a fab way tool to help chart your cycle.

I am sorry to hear of your loss, ttc can be such a turbulent experience. I had two losses prior to DS and it was just an awful time so I really am sorry to hear about what you are going through.

I can ovulate without much EWCM, some cycles I notice it and others I don't so it is possible. If you're concerned about your cycle maybe see your gp, they may be able to order some blood tests to see where you are in your cycle. It may be that your cycles are a bit out after being pg, but if it's different from what is normal for your body I would go to the dr's for peace of mind. Good luck, hope your TTC is short and sweet!

Hi there, I posted the same question, but in a different sub-forum. I don't ever have EWCM and was afraid i wasn't ovulating. Lots of lovely ladies replied telling me that they have all fallen PG with no EWCM. So it can be done

I would still see a GP NOW to get a referral because the wait is usually very long for a specialist! (I had to wait 3 months ) Better to have the appointment locked in just in case you may need help.

I'm on my phone so can't read back to thank you all individually but I really do appreciate your replies

I have tried to use FF but it confuses the heck out if me! I was thinking of trying some OPK's next month. Hopefully I will be pregnant by then so won't need them! I will also be phoning my GP in the morning.. It can't hurt to make the appointment I guess.

    Thanks once again! x

    Hi Stoked,

If you can stick with FF for a month or two (fingers crossed you won't have to!) it is really informative when you go to see the GP and the specialist. I took 12 months worth of charts with me, and the could rule out anovulation and timed intercourse, since we could demonstrate we had already been doing that.

Best of luck and I hope you don't need to go that far!

    Thanks PX
I'll have another look at FF. It's just so confusing and I get frustrated trying to work it out!

    increasing EWCM

    Hi there,

just wanted to tell you that taking Evening Primrose oil everyday from CD1 to O (or mid cycle) increased my EWCM heaps I took 3 capsules each day, usually all at the same time so I wouldn't forget the others!

re temps, I use a normal digital thermometer and take temp as soon as I open my eyes in the morning, try to do it at the same time each day.
Sorry to hear about your loss, try to stay positive. I know it's hard when things feel so uncertain!

:yeahthat: I found it made a huge difference.

I also agree - stick with FF. The longer you use it, the more sense it will make.

I third this advice. I noticed a difference in my CM as soon as I started taking EPO. Worth checking out.

It's great when something does what you hope it will! I take 1000mg x 3 per day.
    best of luck.
