I posted on here a couple of weeks ago because I had been off the pill for 2 months and my period had not returned. After 12 weeks no period I went to my GP who did bloods. Turns out my estrogen levels were very low which indicated I had not ovluated yet, so I was stuck in the first half of my cycle. I was told that I had to wait for 3 more months then if my period had not returned they would send me to a specialist who would probably prescribe clomid to get me started again. Well I am never happy to wait for anything so I went to see a naturopath which turned out to be the best thing I could have done. He prescribed some herbal medications for me, one is a liquid (dont know whats in it) the other is in tablet form. Anyway the herbs taste aweful but after one week on them guess what I got my period. He said not to be surprised if it happened quickly but 1 WEEK!!!
So to all you girls out there who have been told to wait but dont want to I would recommend seeing a naturopath because there are alternatives out there!
My acupuncturist is also a herbalist and has me on a regime of herbs for different stages in my cycle. They all taste disgusting, lol. I started seeing her when I came off the pill and during my 3rd cycle I fell pregnant. Unfortunately we lost the baby though. I hadn't actually returned to seeing my acupuncturist and also haven't had any luck falling pregnant again, so as of last week I have started seeing her and drinking the herbs again. I feel really positive about it and I'm sure that both the acupuncture and herbs will have me pregnant in no time (oh, and my DH's sperm of course, hehe, can't forget about those little guys ).
No period after pill - herbs do the trick
