What were YOUR Pregnancy Symptoms when still BF and no proper AF..
Just wondering how it felt when you were pregnant while still BF a small bubba?
Were the symptoms more pronounced/less pronounced or different?
Any experiences would be great to hear.
We are not officially TTC (but plan to do so later in the year!), but we are not using contraception either (so really we are ttc!!), and I have had AF twice since DS was born in March (first time when he was 8 weeks old, and second when he was about 12 weeks old), but not since. When I tested about 3-4 weeks ago it was BFN, but I also have no idea what part of my cycle I am on either....so no idea what day I was testing?
I have had a few strange things happening the last 2 weeks or so...lots and lots of cm, heartburn, and a little bit of nausea and extreme tiredness. Today I had that achey feeling like AF was coming, and it was quite painful, but only lasted about 10 minutes or so. My Doctor seems to think I am ovulating again, due to the two AF's that I had, and also because DS sleeps right throught at night, and has done since he was a week old.
I don't really have much option other than just testing every now and again.....but it gets a bit expensive after a while! I don't think that I am PG, but both kids were concieved on our first cycle of ttc, so I suppose you never know.
Thats why I would love to know if anyone felt that their PG symptoms were the same of different while BFing.
I might give it another week, and test again maybe....

i had extreme nausea and needed to pee constantly!
after feeling like throwing up for about 3 days in a row i did a test and it was a bfp. no idea when i was ovulating or anything.
I was bfing an 11 month old and my supply dropped right off. My tummy was also growing - it was obvious to DH and some of our friends before I was even 4 weeks pg! But I was blissfully unaware - I had no clue until I did a HPT at DH's insistence and got a BFP!!
I was still breastfeeding DS1 when I fell pg with this bub - and the main difference was that my boobs were nowhere near as sore as the first time (hardly sore at all) - probably due to the breastfeeding. The other thing I noticed was that my supply diminished and the hormones obviously affected the taste of the milk as my DS kept pulling away and making a face as though I'd tried to feed him sour milk!!
My nausea was also worse the 2nd time around, although I think that may have been due to my body being overburdoned - what with the breastfeeding and trying to create a new life at the same time. You need to take extremely good care of yourself if pregnant and breastfeeding (plenty of sleep, healthy food, supplements etc) - its very possible but physically it demands alot of you!
I would definitely wait until next week to test - the longer you wait, the more accurate. Fingers crossed you get the result you are hoping for!!

I was wondering about the breast soreness, because that has always been the first sign when I have fallen pg....but it was hard to imagine having sore boobies while breastfeeding iykwim....they already feel sore and different because of breastfeeding.
I had a fair bit of what I call "hunger nausea" again this morning, being that I felt better once I had eaten...who knows?
I certainly agree that you really need to take extra good care of yourself while pg and breastfeeding. I find it is bad enough now if I do not eat enough good food.
I actually think I might hold off even more than just a week before testing......
