I'm so sorry to hear this :hug: Judging by your dates, you would have been about 5 weeks when you had what you thought was a new period or implant bleed. The hcg could well have been reducing since before then, then the bleed, and now the lowering levels. I've had two chemical pregnancies and they're really hard, the excitement just gets snatched away from you. Again, I'm really sorry.

i feel so numb right now.. i haven't even cried.. i'm just in shock, same with fiance, but he's trying to push it all aside and trying to forget.
we got told we have to wait 3 months before trying again.. is it really that long?

also i'm getting referred to a gynecologist to be examined (for anything left behind...) hurts to say that, but anyway.. a few of my friends told me you're asleep when they do it, is that true?
For being examined, I don't think you'd be asleep at this early stage. Everything may have been passed by now :( If not, you'll need to have a d&c in which you might be put under. as for having to wait 3 months, don't worry, that's not necessary.

so why do you think the doctor told us 3 months?? so there's no harm starting once i have been examined and everything is OK down there?
Oh I'm so sorry hun :( life/nature can be so cruel.
It's just an old fashioned thing some doctors recommend. Your cycles may be a little wacky, so some suggest waiting until they regulate, but if you feel ready, there's no harm in trying straight away :hug:

fiance and i were just reading a lot of articles. doctors recommend 3 months if you were far along in your pregnancy because your uterus would have been stretched and weak, but because we miscarried early, that doesn't really apply to us. i have read that you should wait at least until the end of your first period, so all your hormones are back to normal.
i have just ordered a basal thermometer, going to try and pin point when i ovulate.

So sorry to hear your baby couldn't stay earthside. I have had early losses too and didn't have to wait until ttc again. I think it is really up to the individual and unless there was some sort of complication (ie: ectopic pg) then I can't see the reason to wait. Having said that DH & I waited one or two cycles before ttc again but that was more for emotional reasons.

So sorry to hear your news. How very disapointing for you both, especially after the initial excitement and anticipation. Look after yourself, lots of TLC.
My friend m/c last year and fell pregnant the next month. Her bub is due in 4 weeks, so like everybody else has said, you don't have to wait 3 months.

as far as i know there were no complications. i guess we will find out once we see the gynecologist! am really nervous and scared about that.. never been to one before, no idea what to expect.
it was hard.. we feel so embarrassed, having to break the news to our family. but we know everything happens for a reason, and you just need to move on.:

If it makes you feel any less sad, you are very fertile after a M/C. When I had mine at 4 weeks 5 days I fell pregnant straight away - within 2 weeks of M/C occuring, and went on to have DS.

I was the same as you, felt really numb and sad of course but this is the way I chose to look at it.....everything happens for a reason, and it took away a hard decision that might have had to be made, if in fact the baby had something terminally wrong....as heartbreaking as it is it's your bodies way of saying that something wasn't quite right :hug::
I was told for early losses like ours, things usually pass naturally...though period type bleeding. I didn't need a D&C, and I had some small clots but it was very similar to a heavy period and it went for 7 days. Then 3 weeks later my BFP, 9 months later DS. As I said, you are very fertile....so if it was me, I would be back on the wagon as soon as possible ;)
yeah we feel the same way. i kinda feel like a terrible person though... i still haven't shed a tear :(. we were at the hospital all day today, took some blood, my HCG level is now down to 11. they did another ultrasound still found nothing. i did just pass a small clot though!:
we just went to the chemist and purchased some blackmores conceive well gold, and extra folic acid, also some sylk lube (apparently is helps to sway for a little girl) will start taking those tomorrow morning.
might start DTD in about 3 days ;)
Honey it's OK, everyone expresses their feelings differently, so don't feel bad :hug: No one is going to think your a terrible person if you don't cry.:
Good on you for going back to get the all clear with BT and U/S... it's good for peace of mind :)

I'm so sorry this happened :hug: :comfort: Noone should ever have to go through losing a baby :(
