Hi guys! as the title suggests i am kinda after advice/experiences with ovulation spotting...
the last 2 cycles i have experienced spotting around the time of O. last cycle is was really minimal and (TMI coming up lol) brown 'old' looking spots.
then last night, i went to the bathroom just before i headed to bed and when i wiped there was quite a significant streak of bright red blood. in my horror (yes, i was being dramatic...i was really tired LOL) i wiped again, and again there was quite a bit of red blood. but that was it. nothing on the panty liner overnight and nothing at all today...
sooo, i guess my question is...could this be O spotting, and if yes, can it take all forms (like from brown/pink to red)? Or is it potentially something more sinister? we have been TTC now for close to 9 months (i have history of LTTC and endo, ITH)...
I don't have a great deal of experience with this subject, as I only realised this month that I too experience ovulation bleeding. Mine appears as a very light pink mucous discharge when i wipe.. and i noticed it two days in a row but just one time each day.
I have scoured the internet for any information on O bleeding and it seems to be that many women experience this, and the type of blood is different for everyone. I think this is fairly normal. Saying that, I O'd a few days early this month and then a day or two after my expected O date, I experienced two days of brown/bloody mucous when i wiped. i think this may have been Implantation Bleeding?
Could yours have been implantation bleeding? Have you been charting your cycle?? What day in your cycle are you at?? I am not a doctor, but I wouldn't be concerned at this stage unless you had some nasty pains or other horrible symptoms attached???
hmm no, DH asked if it was implantation bleeding (i had it with DD), but no, it was too early and i know that i hadnt ovulated yet (i track my cycles via FF).
It's good to know that the spotting can look different for everyone though...i was concerned that it had been different from the last cycle IYKWIM. but you're right, there is no pain etc associated with it. although on CD9 i did experience O pain...hmmmm
thanks for your experience and help, it means alot to be able to debrief with someone in a similar boat!
