    Question Pain post-ovulation?

    Hey ladies,

Has anyone experienced pain 2-3 dpo, on the side they ovulated? I have been having varying types and degrees of pain in the past couple of days. Today it is easier, however it has dropped lower on my left side and I have no idea if this normal or I need to worry?
I had O'pain CD16, which is not the feeling I currently have.
This pain can be stabbing, and then I can ache across my abdomen, and slight pain between belly button and pubic bone.
    All help is welcome.

    Hi S'rose !

I not really any help , but just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you, and hoping this is a sign of something good!

I have been trying for the last 2 months to track my O pain and the lie, but I feel like I have some sort of pain in my ovary/stomach/pubic area whenever I think about it! It doesn't seem to be worse or better at any time! Who knows what that means .....
It sounds normal to me, maybe the eggie is making its way to the fallopian tube to meet up with the sperm!
    Good luck.....

    Hi there S'rose,

Sorry I can't actually help you but this month I have had the same thing mine has been constant since day after O & slowing down the last few days.
I'm wanting to know if it's normal as well but I guess with this ttc business nothing is ever normal & things change month by month.
I am secretly hoping it is a good sign but I guess we will soon find out.

    Hey Jo,
    What CD/DPO are you now?
I am also secretly hoping, but wondering who else has had this very out of the blue symptom.

    I am 9DPO today.
I had cramping & then just a niggly feeling in tummy till about 7DPO.
It has pretty much stopped now but 7DOP & yesterday arvo I was feeling really unwell.
I have also had major cm happening pretty much continuing since O day & still going strong which I usually have a few days break & never this much.
    How about you, what dpo?

Jo - I am only 4DPO, but it doesn't show any signs of going away yet, not happy that it could go that long, its very uncomfortable and given I work with 99% males, its hard to wince when it hurts.
I've only had very small amounts CM as yet, but I have to say, your signs sound really good, and even better you will be able to test soon and find out. Keep in touch and let me know how you are travelling, I am very interested to hear how your symptoms go.

Nikki - thanks for the input, how long did you pain last for if you don't mind me asking?

I also had a similar pain about 2 days after O. Now that i think about it, i didnt start having the pain until a couple of months after i came off the pill, so maybe it is a good thing. But, i fell preg, so hopefully its nothing to worry about.

s-rose... for me the pain probably lasted till abt 7-8 DPO... (maybe longer)... i was thinking there was something wrong because it was aching all the time... tho i have read, people with the same sort of pain i had was related to getting pg so

Thanks Nikki - I am thinking that maybe it is fertilisation and embryo travelling as it takes up to 7-8 DPO to travel and burrow in. Something I just read said only 60% of eggies get caught for burrowing after that which is maybe why the pain stops...
I know, I know typical TWW thinking, clutching at straws... But I just can't help but get my hopes up ever so slightly.

Thanks to all of you for sharing your experiences, I am less nervous that the pain is a dangerous/bad thing now. I was terribly worried.

    Hi S'Rose

I'm 2DPO today and getting stitch like pains in my left ovary probably every 10-15 minutes and when they arent there, there is a dull ache. I wouldnt say they were especially painful though. I'm not going to read too much into it though as last month (which was my first month TTC) I talked myself into pregnancy with every little possible symptom I experienced which devastated me when I got my BFN but secretly hoping that it is something positive forming this month .....

Hey Tony - I am now 6DPO and the pains have pretty well gone completely. No idea what that means, but though I would share anyway.
No other symptoms either way and my temp has stayed consistent since my O rise.
Still more waiting and seeing to go I am afraid.
Fingers are totally crossed for you.

I've had O pains and PG symptoms from CD 10 to 31 (all the way through), for a few cycles. No BFP, just alot of cramping, backaches, pangs etc..
