    Unhappy Pee-ing on the stick

i had convinced myself that i was pregnant, i'm not really 'late' yet, i'm unsure what my usual cycle then is, i'm on day 24 and last two months i only had 22 day cycles - anyways i bought a pregnancy test, the kind you can use ultra early, 5-7 days before your period is due... i thought this would suit me perfectly... anyways this morning i pee'd on the stick and my question is - how the hell are you meant to pee on the stick without it going everywhere...? they say not to get the device wet, but when its your first pee of the morning and you are busting, it comes out with such force that it was impossible for me not to get the parts of the stick wet that weren't meant to be wet. Am i bad pee'er on the stick??

Anyways the test came up negative so obviously its all in my head. Next time I will pee in a cup and dip the tester in.... just wondering if anyone else manages to pee on the stick properly... do you think my bad pee-ing could alter the accuracy of the test?

i FEEL pregnant. why am i obsessing over every little symptom and convincing myself that i am pregnant. its only my first month of trying

Thinking you are pregnant can become an obsession! Next time you pee on a stick, put the device in your stream after you have started. If I was you I would wait at least another week to 10 days to test again especially as you have irregular periods. It can be a REALLY long time but it will save you heaps of $ on pregnancy tests.

If you did get the test wet in the display area, it can affect the outcome of the test.

    Good Luck!

The suspense is awful isn't it? Most tests you can actually pee in a cup and dip the test into it that way. That's what I did, it's too hard to pee in the right place LOL! Just read through the instructions and see if you can pee in a cup with your brand. I could for First Response and Forelife (I think that's what it's called?).

    Good luck!

Yeah... I am not good at getting it on the stick... But it gets easier with practice. Ok here is some TMI... I let out the first bit of pee, then stop the flow, then start it up again and quickly stick the stick in, then there is less force in the pee (and good for the pelvic floor too).... Or just use a cup...
Good luck hun... Hopefully your BFP is not too far away. xo
