    Taking Elevit/Menevit with other vitamins?

Went out and bought my first pack of Elevit today Plus some Menevit for hubby, although he's certain he doesn't need it lol. I'm wondering though, will other vitamins mess it up? We currently both take Centrum, and I also take two natural herbal remedies for detox and liver cleanse.

Do you reckon I should stop taking these while I'm on the Elevit?

    Cheers

There is a NP on line on bb maybe she could help? I dont think you would need the centrum on top of all the others? but i would alsway ask a NP

when we were TTC i was on blackmores pg and breast feeding, Vit D, Vit C, fish oil, royal jelly, CQ10 and extra zinc

    Taking Elevit/Menevit with other vitamins?

If you look at the ingredients list in both the vitamins they have similar ingredients in them, so take one or the other. You need to be careful with vitamin a. Not sure about the others you are taking.

i'd stop the centrum due to the vit a and also that the elevit will take over the rest. if it's any support i was on elevit and DH was on his menevit when we got our BFP! so he's a menevit convert!!

Thanks guys Will definitely stop the centrum, and I'll check the other two. Might just stop taking them anyway, until I can get in to ask the naturopath.

Nice to know Cassius! We're not TTC until end July/beginning August, but I always had it in my head it would be easy to conceive. Now I've done my research and it looks like there's just soooo much against making a baby!! Hopefully this works though. I know hubby will be happy if it takes a few months of practicing lol

Lol crumpet! Good to hear Menevit is good Hubby is in good shape anyway, very fit from work, but he has a habit of beer with dinner (but what guy doesn't lol) and pies, donuts & iced coffee for lunch on weekends. That's really not likely to change, so I'm hoping this will get things nice and healthy on his side Go swimmers go!

My husband isn't yet convinced about menevit but he has agreed to take a general men's multi - better than nothing I guess :-)
