Rookie needing help please!!

Hi everyone

I am new to this Forum and new to baby making so I'd appreciate any assistance/advice

I finished my pill (was on it for 11 years) on 16 August, and then had a very heavy period starting on 20 August (11 days after the start of my last period on pill). My husband and I then tried for the first time on 25 August. I have been having funny cramps, sore lower back and have been feeling off ever since. I'm unsure of when to test as I'm not sure when I'll be ovulating due to my system being all over the place! Any advice/opinions?

I'd say your body will be adjusting to change after 11yrs, maybe wait until your cycles work themselves out that way you can know when you're ovulating. Good luck.

Maybe buy some OPK's too

in your first few cycles you will come to believe every month that you are pg. i hope it is quick for you.
try to wait until af is due before you test.

it sometimes takes a while for your body to get back on track after taking the pill. it usually takes a few months for AF to come. lots of women on here use Fertility Friend charting website in which you take your temp every morning which will help you pinpoint ovulation. Ovulation Calendar and Ovulation Chart - Fertility Charting (its free).
