Shettles Method and Chinese Method True or False?

Just wondering whether Shettles or Chinese Method of trying to conceive a particular gender actually worked for you?
In a few more months I'd like to try for a boy.

We are using Dr Shettles to try for a girl Well, my partner wants to also time it with the Chinese conception calendar, even tho I am convinced the woman's age has nothing to do with it.

At least Shettles method is scientific.

We're giving the shettles method a go for a boy...but I still have a bit of a wait before I know if anything's worked
The Chinese method I don't know about - but maybe I'll do some researching...

for our third we tried for a girl and it worked, we just went by the day i ovulated!!! With DS2 we DTD on the day of conception so you could say it worked that time as well!!! For a boy i would DTD the day of ovulation!! no promise's but i suppose nothing is guaranteed!!!
