    Short luteal phase

Can you tell me about your experience with a short second phase??? For the last six months I have been getting af approximately 6-7 days after I ovulate. So today I am getting af and I o'd only last Friday or maybe Saturday so only 6/7 days dpo. I took vit b6 this month which pushed o back to cd22 instead of cd18. I have been doing opk each month and this last cycle to prove it to my GP that this is happening I did both opk and bbt so I know for sure. I had a mc in feb but my cycle before the mc wAS also the same with only 6 days between o and af. So I guess I am wondering if anyone has experience in this issue and what was done to help?

I had the same issue when I was TTC my second child. I took Vitex tablets - first cycle the LP had stretched out to 10 days and I got pregnant on the second cycle.

I have had the problem that IF i ovulate my luteal phase was between 1 - 4 days. I have been given clomid (i also have POCS) on days 2-6 and then after ovulation i started progestrone to extend my luteal phase. last month i got i think 14 day luteal phase and this month i am not sure yet as i get the test results tomorrow.
I have tried 2 different types of progestrone and i have a bad allergy to the pesseries but ok on the gel. if your luteal phase is short you are going to need help from a specialist which your doctor should be able to refer you to

Hi plagued, I ended up taking the bit b6 up until I ovulated because the dose was quite strong. It pushed my ovulation day right back to day 21 or 22 - I was convinced it was useless that month as I was getting af on day 26 but something must have helped because I am now 10 weeks pg!!
