I am totally confused. Today is cd 27 on clomid 150mg. Went for a scan this morning and fs thought it looked like I had ovulated so she sent me for a blood test. Blood test came back that progesterone was low so fs said that I didn't ovulate and we have made plans to start injections. FS said she was surprised as it looked like I had ovulated. Anyway when I got home this afternoon I did an opk and it came back positive (the first positive I have got in three cycles- two strong dark lines) is it possible that I am about to ovulate? I want to know as I am due to take primolut again to induce a period starting tomorrow. I have sent an email to FS but son't get a reply until tomorrow at the earliest. Any ideas???
Thanks for the replies! I don't have any contact for after hours only business hours and email. FS didn't say number of follicles or size today. I went for a scan on day 19 and had a 13mm follicle so I think she was expecting that I would ovulate around day 22/ 23. The consultation notes for today just said endo 9 and secretory- don't know what it means. Just don't want to start the primolut until I know for sure that I am out this cycle.
don't start the primulut until you speak to fs tomorrow
given that you have a secretory endometrium (usually means it's patchy as opposed to a proliferative/consistent endo) it sounds like ovulation happened or the follicle was reabsorbed, but they should be doing a BT 7 days post ovulation not just a couple of days. if you've only o'd in the last day or two, your P4 would be very low

I am just so confused. I would have thought that FS would have been able to tell from scan if I was about to ovulate but she seemed to think it had already happened. I will call her tomorrow and hopefully be able to make some sense out of it! Will hold off the primolut until I speak to her. Thanks again for the advice.
Thanks so much! I had pretty much given up on this clomid cycle and have my prescription for injections and have booked an appointment to learn how to do the injections so I don't know what possessed me to do an opk today but I did and now I have confused myself.

it was just that i have used clomid to O each time (twice resulting in hunky little boys) and the last time my BT came back that i had not O'd. Later in the cycle I did an OPK just really to double check and it came back +ve. Turned out though that i wasn't Oing, i was actually UTD, so i discovered then that OPKs show +ve result for pregnancy too.

I think the prog was 1.8 or something like that? Just heard back from the doctor via email and this was her advice The test signfiies the day before ovulation so may have been starting to surge later today. I am happy if you want to do another blood test to check before starting the primolut. Alternatively you can wait 15 days and start the primolut then if no period. Or you can just have the primolut.
What do you think? We BD last night just in case but don't know if we will get to today as I have come down with gastro! That's okay LG, the same thing happened to me in my last pregnancy did an opk and it came back positive even though I'd already had a positive in that cycle and it turned out that I was pregnant!
Just to update DH and I have been BDing and have decided to wait it out 15 days before starting the primolut and injections just in case, so cross your fingers for us even though I guess it is unlikely that we'll get our BFP having ovulated around day 27/28! Thanks for all your responses and advice!
