Spotting

Can you start spotting (brownish in colour) for two-three days then stop then start spotting again a pinkish colour???

I thought that perhaps AF had decided to come after all, but its only when i wipe inside that i notice this discharge. I am still getting BFNs but my boobs still hurt.

whats going on with me?

Hi Rachael,
I have the kind of spotting you describe when I am pregnant, early on about 5 to 6 weeks. The brown stuff is old the blood, the pink stuff is newer.
How late is AF?
HPT don't work for me early on!! My last preg was diagnosed with a blood test and HPT still came up negative after +ve blood test.
Could you be preg? Can you get it checked out?

i was due 26 may.i might get a bt on saturday. how quick do they process the results?

Still early days! HPT might not work for you yet.
When I had the BT, I had blood taken late afternoon and the results were back the next morning. I think the DR marked them urgent as I had an infection (I wanted to check that I wasn't preg before taking anything)
It might take a bit longer to get a result over the weekend though so you might want to check.
Waiting is horrible.

i have to say i am a bit more excited now that i know its no AF. Gives me a bit more hope

Nicrach try to get a blood test tomorrow so you dont have to wait over the weekend for the results. It depends where you are but some labs can have the results in 4 hours (this is for a qualitive blood test) otherwise the next day is usual. Some will even phone the results but not all and it's not always that great especially if you have questions as the receptionist cant answer them.
I find that hpts dont work for me either, i'm going for my second bt tomorrow as my first was -tv. Day 42 for me unusual as i am regular 30dayer! I have my fingers crossed for your BFP - keep us posted

i felt so sick this morning i had to take somehting for the nausea, i also had more spotting today.

did any of you have bright red bleeding? Is it AF or somehting else? I was going to get a bt tonight but now am not sure,
i was so sure this morning that i was pg, my boobs still hurt, i've been dizzy and nauseous. I took a pill from the pharmasist for the nausea this morning could that have done something i told them i could possibly be pg.

Hi Rachael.

Sorry to hear that it has turned bright red and your not feeling well!!

With my second preg it didn't turn bright red. With my first I got the bright red a few weeks later but I am afraid to say that it wasn't a good outcome.

So yes, it could be AF or something else!! Hang in there!! I believe that there are things that are safe to take for nausea so I think unlikely that this has done anything.

Do you have any cramps?

Rach - even though you are bleeding, id recommend you get a bt done anway as your symptoms and the on-off spotting plus the pink all sounds a bit suspect to me.

How are you going? Waiting is defintely is the WORST. [Been through it myself.]
Next Friday for a scan - so you have to wait over a week!!!!! (biting finger nails for you!and big hugs)

Just read your post Rachael ... how exciting! So does the scan mean good things or just that you and your Dr are still trying to figure out what it all means?
