Strange... way to early to ovulate let alone implant - if your period was in fact a period.

I get light spotting like that when I've had thrush? Other than that... UTI? Still got period perhaps?

lady_neon!! no idea what's going on. it was indeed a period, very heavy, went through pads like mad (sorry TMI lol) i haven't bled for 2 days so it definitely stopped?

i haven't had thrush for years, and i'm not itchy down there..

my stomach has been sore now that i think about it, and when i woke up i had the biggest cramp underneath my belly button to the right...?

i have been put off food all day (which is unlike me LOL) had subway for lunch, i probably had 4 bites and wrapped it up.

i guess it could be a UTI?? i'm not sure :-/

    not sure...

I get the odd spot here or there for a couple of days after AF ends. It could just be the from AF. It could also be that your cervix was irritated if you were a bit rough last night.

It can't hurt to ask your Dr about it though, especially if you've got other symptoms.

You don't have to itch to have thrush (particularly if you catch it early). But I'd give it a few days before worrying about it.

But if you had a UTI you'd know about it, KWIM? Stinging when peeing etc.

I'd just right it off as 'weird', not much else you can do at the moment really!

I'd also get to a doctor just to check out all that bleeding.

thanks heaps ladies!!!!!!!! it still hasn't sunk in..... OMG!!!

i'm a bit worried at the moment, wondering if this is normal...

after a few hours of taking the pregnancy tests, i started to get this cramp/ache/period pain bottom right of my tummy, it's not really there now, just kind of feel sick, but the main thing i'm worried about is.. when i goto the loo, and i wipe... there's a smallish amount of darkish red/brown blood left on the toilet paper??

we have a doctors appt tonight at 10.15pm....

    Xxx hugs

    Hi M&D2B,

I considered carefully whether to make this post - your joy at your pg radiates off the screen and I don't want to dampen it!

Please make sure you ask your doctor for a referral for a series of quantitative HCG blood tests. Whilst some bleeding in pg is not uncommon, the heavy bleeding you have described is concerning. If you have experienced a miscarriage only days ago, it's possible that you still have enough HCG in your system to result in a positive pregnancy test (or three). The First response tests are particularly sensitive and pick up only a very small amount of HCG. A series of quantative blood tests over the next week or so will show whether your HCG is rising (indicating a pg) or falling (indicating a loss of pg).

I'm sorry if I have given you cause to worry. It's important after the heavy bleeding you have described to be sure that all is well and the only way to do so prior to 6 weeks or so gestation is with a series of blood tests. I truly have everything crossed that the results are great and you enjoy a happy and healthy pregnancy.
    Completely agree, nicely worded nickle.
