Stopped pill no bleed

i stopped taking the pill but didn't get a withdrawal bleed, so didn't carry on taking it as wasn't sure what was going on. now been 7+wks since a bleed & been having mega preg symptoms, but did a test & negative. Could i have just missed a period & be due next wk????

Not sure if this helps but:

I always had very, very heavy periods even when on the pill.

I went off the pill last February and every period up until when I concieved in August was so light it was basically non existant.

What I did notice more though was when I ovulated. I would get big, sore breasts, cramping etc.

However...if you're having pregnancy symptoms I'd say probably do another test in a few days - a week if your period still doesn't show.
