I have calculated that AF is due today or tomorrow (nothing yet) however I have been feeling so off today. I am feeling very dizzy, and had to sit down i've also been bloated and feel very, very tired. Can AF symptoms be like this??? I haven't done a HPT so might do one tomorrow just to ensure i'm not preg. Don't think i am. How come AF symptoms mimick preg symptoms so much? Having come off BCP's in March this year, after 9years, i'm still getting used to learning my body again and symptoms of AF. it's all new to me again.... if you know what mean?
I just feel yuck.... felt like throwing up too
Hi Renstar,
Yes, AF symptoms can be like that - well mine are sometimes anyway. Could be part of coming off the BCP and establishing a cycle again. Then again ... you never know!!
Know what you mean about AF symptoms mimicking preg symptoms, just those pesky hormones again.
Hope you feel better soon.
TICKLISH.
yeah i feel awful! I had to go lie down a few times... feel so rotten but oh well, it's what us women have to go through isn't it??!!! part of life i guess..any wonder so many women go through HPT's just about every week!!! we are always thinking we are preg because we have just about every symptom! you wouldn't want to ignore it just incase you are!!!!
Aww.. wow Renstar! I had convincing AF symptoms for two weeks after AF was due.. i was in complete denial.. Only due to the fact because we were only told a couple of months earlier Danny was infertile and we were just about to start our first cycle of IVF! Good luck and i hope you get that BFP real soon!
I think I might do a HPT tomorrow if AF hasn't arrived... unlikely that I am as we've been careful however you never know i guess.... my boobs hurt too!!! but that could just be AF symptoms of course... i don't want to think i'm preg because last time i did that my mind got carried away and i was convinced i was and then i wasn't! haha
ggrrrr I'm still having dizzy spells throughout the day! Yesterday and today!!! I feel dizzy and have to sit down... also peeing like crazy... 2 times in the night too... is that normal when AF is due???? strange that's all...
i'm just not used to not being on the pill, my body is still going back to normal but i certainly didn't think you would get real dizzy when AF is due...
REALLY?? Oh my gosh!! I keep saying "no, i'm not pregnant" because we haven't been trying, (until Aug) and we're off the pill, using condoms but couple of times we have been naughty and not used anything but only for like 1min! and he didn't actually (YKWIM????) inside me so i can't be right?????
if i am i'll be sooooo happy!!!!!!!!! I must be terribly fertile if I am preg!!!! hahahha
yeah i have heard that, but you would have to be "very" fertile for that to happen, i believe anyway!! Plus, we've only done it twice since i've been off BCP's.... chances are very slim that i am pregnant.... i seem to have all the symptoms tho haha
thanks for doing that research for me... i appreciate it! :hugs:
Why am i feeling so dizzy all day and yesterday on and off? It's not normal is it? I've eaten so my sugar levels are normal etc and drinking fluids... could it be symptom of AF arriving? I can't find info on it
AF arrived today.... at least now I know why I was feeling so dizzy... but why? I have never had that before... even today I feel dizzy.... and cramps! Ouch
Hi Renstar,
When I AF arrived 2 cycles ago, which was the first postpartum for over 12 months I was so so so dizzy, I thought I was going to faint and I was out shopping with DS. I figured it was because I hadn't had one for so long.
Have you been usually stressed lately? Sometimes I find that also brings on a bad one!
Hope you feel better soon.
TICKLISH.
Hi Ticklish,
Yes I have been stressed a bit the last 3 weeks with work and we're planning our wedding too that is fast approaching so there is a lot going on for us... and we did just move house so yeah, lots of stress!! LOL! You're probably right!
I just can't believe how your hormones can make you feel so dizzy? It was terrible... hormones are cruel, but without them we can't have babies can we??? That would have been scary feeling dizzy whilst with your DS, at least when you are on your own you know it's just you to look after!!!
Thanks heaps
Yep, that sure is a lot of stress. Just moving house would be enough.
I have actually fainted when out shopping on my own (when preg) and that was scary!! Needless to say DH didn't let me out alone again!!
Good luck for the wedding!
