I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this question. mods please feel free to move it.
I thought I would put the question out there, as I am sure that someone on this wonderful community would be able to give me an answer, or at least point me in the direction of where I can find information.
What is the costs involved in having a tubal ligation reversal compared to IVF? Has anyone had a reversal done, and fallen pregnant? Any information, or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
my take on it - if you have a reversal, it's a one off surgery. if it works, you can ttc on your own as much as you want, for one or five more kids. if it doesn't work, you may have to go to ivf - every cycle costs
if you go to ivf straight away - you're forking out for every cycle you go through. every additional child you want you have to go through major hormonal fluctuations etc.
if the only reason you can't ttc on your own if a TL, i'd try the reversal first. IVF is painful, financially, physically and emotionally - if you can avoid it, you should (IMO)
