Sorry for all the mumblejumble....what I want to know is
1)whats the diff between the two products and
2)with the pregnancy and bf formula, do you still have to start taking it one month prior to beginning ttc?
xxxx
Okaaaay,
I have always taken the Pregnancy and Breastfeeding tablets for my last two babies, (mind you last time I only started taking it less then a month before conceiving....Freak attack! lol)
When I first began ttc back in 2005 I was of the understanding to start taking the Pregnancy & Bf tablets one month before ttc.....is that still true? I thought the same for DS#2 and had a heart failure when I found out I was pregnant and had only been taking them for a few weeks...just had "ONE MONTH" stuck in my head from DS#1.(actually if the truth be known, I started taking them in October 2004 so that I was REALLY ready!
and just told DH I HAD to start taking them 3 months prior....how paranoid was i!?!)
At the mo we are not actively trying nor are we preventing anything from happening so I have started taking the above tablets again....only began again on the weekend!
I have noticed in mags and on some websites about the Blackmores Conceive Well.......I am wondering if this is really necessary? What's is the diff between the two formulas?
As I mentioned at the start, do I still have to take the tablets (whichever) one month prior to ttc......
Thanks gals!

I can relate to your question.
I did a little research into the difference between the two, as I had been taking the B/M TTC tablets that come in a monthy pack for about $40, and after TTC for a few years, it became a little pricey.
So I have now swiched to the Blackmore's Preg & Bfeeding tablets, as you get a BIG Tub that lasts 3 months for $40.00
It's the folate that is the differnce in the two, so I suppliment the folate, with 5mg of Folate from Priceline $8.95, so I am getting adequate Folate intake. I also take royal jelly, CQ10, B6and Fish Oil
I checked with the pharmicist and my fertilty specialist and they were both happy .. HTH
Thanks for that!
Yes, I know about the trimester tub you can get and sometimes if you keep your eyes peeled, you can get it for as low as $27.00! I bought two once.
I was taking fish oil (for skin condition) and was not sure if I could keep taking it so I stopped!
I was also taking evening primrose for pmt and stopped that also.
