hi there
I'm 36 and i've been off the pill for two months, first period was normal. This time i have been spotting for 7 days, brownish or pink on loo paper, could have used the same pad all week as nothing but a couple of spots made it to the pad. Have soreish boobs and bloated feeling, but also eating way too much chocolate! Had no strong symptoms early with my other two pgs.
Not sure what to think, should i test just in case or is it more likely that i haven't o'd this month? 7 days seems too long for an implantation bleed?
Thanks for any advice
Not sure what this could be or if I can offer any advice but I was on the pill for 10 years and when I went off my cycles went a bit loopy.
It could be just that your body is adjusting to getting the pill out of its system.
I have had implantation bleeding before and it lasted only two days and was super light, no pad etc required.
I had a cpl of m/c before being successful with our little blessing and so I went and saw a naturopath at fertile ground, she put me on vitex and it really did fantastic things for my cycles, some ppl say it takes months to start working but first month on it my AF was on time, 28 days, cramp free, clot free, and 5 days long which has never been the case for me off the pill. It fixed my cycles straight away, had about 4 cycles like this, then decided to give TTC again a go and we fell preg and so far so good.
If you find you have trouble with your cycles after the pill i'd highly recommend going and visiting a naturopath!!!
Maybe test just to be sure.
Hope someone else can pop on and give you some better advice, good luck hun
Thanks for that Babyluv, i will give a naturopath a go.
Well, i've finally got "normal" flow, after 10 days of spotting, so i'm guessing i can't start counting cd's until now? Has been a very frustrating couple of weeks and now will be interesting to see how long AF actually goes for. Have only been on Pill for about 8 months this time but had Implanon for 6 mths before that, had that removed because of constant bleeding so maybe it's related to that.
Thanks again xx
