In the next few months we are planning on taking out my IUD to have our second child.
But one thing I would really like to know is how long does it generally take for most people to become pregnant.
With my first child I never had to "try" one missed pill and pregnant, I am hoping that this time will also be that easy however eight years later could I be so lucky at 35.
Has anyone had an experiences with a IUD removal, as the insertion was nothing like what I was told it would be like.
Sorry to sound a little slow, but is IUD the Implanon implant? If so, I just had mine removed this morning hoping to have #2 before my DH's 2nd birthday.
My GP said she would be surprised if it took more than 3 months. But then again, I only had the implant in for 4 months.
No I did not go with the implant did not like the idea of something under the skin of my arm.
I have the older style coil was hoping for the Mirena but it was a nightmare inserting so had to go with the older style as I was not going to leave the hospital without anything
Hoping that someone has had some experience with removal
Hiya, the removal of the Mirena is very painless and takes less than a minute so don't worry about it in the slightest. All the best TTC after it, cheers Missy
Most couples will find that they fall pregnant without any medical assistance within 12 months of not using any contraception and when they're actually trying
That depends on how old you and your partner are though as fertility rates usually drop after 30 years and significantly drop after 35 years.
I would recommend some of the conception articles - there is a link at the very top of the page for Conception Articles.
