Anyone experienced an ovulation bleed?

Hi. Can it be normal to have an ovulation bleed? I had bright pink stained CM around ovulation or just before and I've got no idea what its from? I'm not 100% sure what was ovulation day this cycle but know its somewhere from CD11 to CD13. I know its way too early for an implantation bleed so am a little worried about it.

I've also been having acupuncture / chinese medicine this cycle so not sure if its related? Anyone ever experienced this? I had the stained CM for 2 days but it was the brightest on the 1st day.

I had surgery 5 months ago to remove fibroids and check everything out and all was ok so just find the bleed a bit weird. Am also having a bit of pain on the right side today, being day 3 of when I first got the pink CM...if that makes sense?

Anyway just wondered if you can have an ovulation bleed?

I just found this on Fertility Friend re: Ovulation

Ovulation spotting: Some women see slight spotting at the time of ovulation. This is quite rare, but you may see that your cervical fluid is streaked with blood or has a pink tinge. If you do notice this and it is accompanied by fertile cervical fluid (eggwhite or watery) enter the cervical fluid as eggwhite or watery but make a note about the spotting in your notes section. If it is heavy or lasts longer than a day, you should ask your doctor about it.

Thanks CharlieBrown. I hadn't thought about looking on FF. Everything is definitely all weird this cycle so am going back to the doctor in a few weeks. I think it might be time for assisted conception too!!

Ovulation pain is horrid. Well mine is at least. Its not unusal for me to have to take pain killers. Mine is usually always on one side but has me doubling over and can last more than 12 hours sometimes.

Yep! but not until after I had lost Jayvan... I dunno why, being pregnant must have done something to my cycle. But yep I got/get O bleed... I also get implantation bleed, I have done with both pregnancies... Fun fun, it really throws you off guard in my opinion too.

I have had ovulation spotting once, the cycle I fell pregnant with the baby I am carrying, my ovulation spotting occured on days 2 and 3DPO, I also had an implantion bleed on 9DPO.
