TTC#2 while on vacation, what can't I do?

DH and I are going to Mexico for 1 week this Saturday. We're TTC#2 and I'm supposed to be most fertile during the days I'm on vacation. YAY! More time to DTD since DD is not around. However, DH is planning to go parashooting, scuba diving, seadoo, and of course not to mention that alcoholic drinks are all inclusive there. Is it safe to do these things since I'm not exactly pregnant those days as those fall into my ovulation dates?

    Hi

It takes a couple of weeks post conception for the 'baby' to link in to your blood supply, so drinking alcohol will not affect any potential baby.

I don't know of any reason why you shouldn't do any of those things, make the most of your holiday, i reckon!

We conceived both times on holiday and I did many things that I probably shouldn't have - both times! However none of these seem to have had any impact. Both times I was drinking prior to the BFP (as I was sure I couldn't possibly be pregnant!).

I rode bikes on cobblestoned streets, went white water kayaking, rode elephants, went surfing, went skinny dipping in near freezing water I wouldn't wrap yourself up in cotton wool just in case. Do what you want, have fun and relax.

Sounds all good to me. Do you think it will do any harm if I go to night clubs and go without sleep for a couple of days? We're trying to get the most out of this vacation since it's been awhile since DH and I spent some good time with one another. I know I shouldn't overdo it, but it's so tempting as I won't be doing any of those for a LONG LONG TIME!

As long as you don't take anything to help you stay awake for 2 days it should be ok. Although if you do get UTD while away you may find that you are unable to stay awake
