    TTC 3years for 3rd child

    Hi,
I'm new at the forums, but I do need some advice. I have been trying to conceive our
3rd child for 3 years. I have had 2 miscarriages under 5wks and about 4 or more pregs before period due, but still get period. I have been to Ob's and none of them know what is going on.
I have just heard about asprin and how this can help. Does anyone know when you should take it (when in cycle should start) and for how long. I know the dose is to be about 78-81mg (about 1/4 tab daily). At this stage I am willing to try anything.
It took 2mths to conceive 1st child and 6mths for the second.
    Thanks

    Hi Nino,

sorry only just came across this thread as i have been away from my computer!

I think the fact that you guys have been trying for so long for No.3 is a cause for some concern. I would HIGHLY recommend getting a referral to see a fertility specialist. an OB/GYN won't really be able to help much in determining possible infertility factors.

Normally i would recommend charting your cycles with one of the online softwares like fertility friend, but with this bubba 3 years in the making it seems there may be more going on then simple mis-timing.

A fertility specialist will do a full run of tests and will be able to advise on whether aspirin is the way to go or not (ie if you have clotting issues that prevent embies from sticking).

HTH and sending loads of good luck and sticky vibes for your journey for baby 3.
