I had a Merina for around 8 months. First week of June I had it removed and I think I am finally starting to see normality in my cycle.
This is my experience: Had a really heavy withdrawal bleed for 4 days and then one days break. Then I got what I assume was my Period for 4 day and then 6 days break and then I got my period again. I am treating my last period like it was a normal cycle and am now on Cycle Day 9 with no bleeding and no spotting, so fingers crossed it's back to normal again? This cycle feels normal if you know what I mean?
Everyone is different but for me it took 3 weeks of bleeding on and off for it to go back to "normal"
I am currently TTC so fingers crossed we catch the egg this month
I had my mirena in for about 14 months. After I had it removed I bled on and off for 3 - 4 weeks and I fall pg the next month - our first month of trying
I have been told that one of the benefits of having the Merina is that once it's out that's it! There is no residual left in your system like the Pill. So hopefully we will be like Liviam and have no issues!
I've had mine in for just over 4 years to it is due to be moved in a few months anyway, but think I will book myself in to have it removed next month. Hopefully it won't take too long to conceive. DD took 8 months, so hopefully this time wont be much longer...I am not very patient
I had a Mirena for about 4 years. I had it removed in December and gave birth the next November so... I think 3 months to conceive. Or 2? I'm sure it was three!!
