TTC a girl verses a boy

Hi there any one know of any methods or therory that has worked to conceive a girl?

i have 2 boys and maybe (im not sure yet as i have just and my 2nd he's 3 months today) we would like to try for a girl.

With my first i know i fell pregnant on ovulation day :biggrin:

with the 2nd i thought i was a couple of days before ovulation so i thought that would be a maybe girl!

ive heard the therory of bout 3-4 days before ovulating maybe a girl or better chances as the boy sperm is fast but dies quicker and girl spers are slow but live longer so by the time you ovulate the boy ones are likley to die off which leave the girl sperms..

well i know the therory of getting preg right on ovulation is a boy. so any stories out there for getting a girl. PLEASE DONT GET ME WRONG I LOVE MY BOYS SOOO MUCH THEY R ADORABLE

Well with the first baby I followed the *theory* for a girl and I got a girl
with this pregnancy I followed the *theory* for a girl and I got a boy

It never entered my mind that i would have anything other than a girl both times
Hey I followed the rules !
But I think it comes down to its a 50/50 chance and although we may do things to supposedly influence the outcome of which spermie won the race- I think its pure luck and co-incedence if we get what we want...

*your theory was the one i used by the way the first and 2cnd times - the first time I plotted it all on a chart - the 2cnd time I did not so who knows maybe I wasnt as accurate the 2cnd time ? - my recoomendation plot everthing on a chart - AF O DTD etc*

how do you do the chart thing? and when you do what are you looking out for to have a girl?

I tried everything that was ment to 'make' a boy.....i got a girl!!

SO this time we DTD when ever and we'll see what we get!!
