    hmmm maybe
I'm working with a young girl who is 15 weeks and "claims" that she didn't know she was pregnant until 3 days ago. She "claims" she didn't know cause she had a "period" just that it was lighter and shorter.
I didn't know if this could happen or not. I didn't question her because for all i know she could be telling the truth... i just thought i'd ask all you knowledgable people

I have heard of people still having periods whilst preg. but when i think of the a&p side they aren't relaly periods...
I use to work with a woman who was sick as a dog for 7 months, saw specilists and doctors and no one could work out what was wrong with her, until some smart person gave her a pg test. she took one right at the start and was neg so didnt think anymore of it. but turns out she was preg...and yea didnt know til 7 1/2 months in

I was told its pretty common to have a breakthrough bleed in the first 3-6 months of pregnancy, especially at 3 months and 6 months, something to do with hormones??
I had a bleed at 9 wks, spotted for 5 days straight then stopped.

Maybe she genuinly thought it was "normal" period???

I'm not at all trained in this area of work...LOL i only know what my pregnancy was like

Yup, my cousin went to the doc for gastro that wouldn't go away - found out she was 6 months pregnant, but her periods hadn't skipped a beat

Unfortunately a lot of 15 year olds these days are still very naive when it comes to sex and pregnancy, I wouldn't find it surprising she didn't know!
