I am trying to sway for a girl and i would like to know who has done this what gender did you want, What cd did you DTD to get this gender and did it work for you.
Im trying to find out as much as i can to help me on my way.
they say if you DTD day of ovulation the chances of the male sperms getting to the egg are higher as they swim faster but die sooner and the female sperm swim slower but live longer- so if you want a girl you have sex a couple of days before ovulation so the male ones die off and female are there waiting,
With my first pregnancy i DTD the day of Ovulation and it was a boy this pregnancy it wasnt planned so i think i either DTD a few days before O and im carrying a girl.
the science makes sense to me - BUT you get what you get in the end...
I have done a fair bit of research on this and have read several studies that disprove that the timing of intercourse has much of an impact of the gender outcome.
I have studied this fascinating subject, and here is a bit of extra info. Some studies have shown gender swaying to be highly effective, but it is still debatable, but well worth a try!
This is an interesting aspect of natural fertility planning, and I have found it to be a common enquiry in my practice. It has been discovered in multiple studies that the sex of a child can be influenced by the timing of conception. It has been found that if intercourse occurs earlier than ovulation ie.1 -2 days before, the chances of conceiving a female baby are higher, as female sperm live for longer, and have a higher chance of surviving until the egg is released. If sex occurs during ovulation or shortly before or afterwards, it is more likely that a male baby will be conceived, as male sperm reach their target more quickly, but don?t live as long as the female sperm. It is also believed that if you do not put any input into ?choosing? the sex of your child, there is a fifty-fifty chance of either a male or female child, but if you use gender selection techniques, you elevate the chances of conceiving the chosen sex to at least 75% (Shettles & Rorvik 1994). Studies of this technique have been undertaken in Nigeria with success rates of up to 90% (Billings 2000). Francesca Naish mentions a higher likelihood of conceiving a male child if the moon is in a positive (male) sign of the zodiac at the time of conception, and vice versa for conception during negative (female) signs (Naish 2002)
i conceived my first two girls right on 'o' day....i think there are a whole bunch of other factors that are taken into account - the females environment, males diet.....but all this aside i really believe its in the hands of the gods !!!...but it could be fun trying....
