I never bothered with going VIP so I'm really not sure lol
It still works fine but I think there things like temperature adjustments if you take it later than normal and other options to add down the bottom (you know the colour coded thingys).
I have a VIP membership so I can use the forums there. I was using those a long time before I found BB and have friends there I don't want to lose touch with. I don't think I'd bother with the VIP membership for just the extra charting functions.
I think with VIP doesnt it pin point your O day as well? Or does it do that without VIP as well? I have VIP so not sure what id miss out on if i cancelled it...
I have FF w/o vip, and it pinpoints my o day and records my symptoms, etc. It does not predict fertile period based on previous cycles, and does not adjust for temps taken under "unusual" circumstances (I can ask it to disregard that temp though) and I cannot access the forum for help and discussion. However, I can get pretty much any question answered here on BB, and I think a regular membership gives all the info I need.
You could let yours expire and see how it goes for a month or two, and then decide.
its the same as, and does everything you get when you join up for the free trial month (i think its a month) then you loose a lot of the functions. like some forum use, and other stuff i cant remember. just see what its like when you finish your trial and then decide. i got the membership for 3 months and i liked having it. you can also ask for help from the experts in the forum section which is great.
I now have VIP as this TTC thing is turning out to be yet again a long journey so decided to upgrade.
when you lose VIP you lose the fertility monitor, early pregnancy signs estimator and the ability to search for charts that resemble yours. (you can still do chart searches, but they are not based on a selection of 'signs' that you have inputted).
my advice would be to try without first and see how you go and see if you miss it. i also waited until FF had a good deal on membership and took it up then.
the only thing is if you change email addy's or your comp make sure you save every scrap of info in regards to log in, my comp died I lost my info thereffore cannot access my charts
Rach that has to suck.. i changed a something in my chart the other day n lost my whole chart... just kept hitting the back button n it finally all came bak... i was crying.
yer thanks every1 think ill just see how i go without it... no point in paying the money if i dnt need to..
it does suck but thankfully I was finished with it anyway as we fell pg the cycle I lost my info....and this is it in regards to full on TTC... I can still view my chart just not access it
