Vitex to correct irregular periods / ovulation.

My naturopath who I saw yesterday said she will put me together a herbal for fertility that’s going to cost about $40 per month for around 3 months. Included in this is vitex , wild yam and a few others.

She is away for 2 months so I was wondering weather or not to just go ahead and buy some vitex by blackmores as if it does work, is much cheaper?
I am also having all sorts of issues with my skin at the moment terrible acne so my hormones are really out of whack,

Any success with regulating cycles and conception with this herb alone?

I took the blackmores one for a couple of cycles and ended back on a 28 day cycle instead of 30/32. I also ending up getting pg with dd2 once they were back on track but I was charting and discovered I was ovulating earlier than I thought.

I took it too. The second month I was taking it - plus acupuncture - my cycle went from 37 to 32 days.

Didn't help fertility but definitely helped regulate cycles.
