Vitex Question - Need some advise

Hi Girls

So I have heard allot of good things about Vitex and have been doing allot of research. I hear allot of girls that are taking Vitex that have PCOS. I have had PCOS for about 7 years now and have just recently started my first round of Clomid.

I really wanted to try and give Vitex a go but I have read alot on Medication info sites that Vitex has a caution of not using while you a pregnant. So my question is if I am trying to conceive would this not be recommended??

Just wanted some advice as it seems that allot of girls on soul cysters and this site are taking it.

I wouldn't recommend using Vitex. I had two early miscarriages whilst on it. You have to stop taking it when pregnant and as soon as I did that I would m/c. I stopped taking it and the very next pregnancy stuck and I now I have a son.

I used Vitex but only until I knew I had ovulated. It regulated my cycle and reduced it to 27 day cycles from 35 - 39.

I would see a naturopath or someone to advise you on it first.
Actually, I would see an acupuncturist/chinese herbalist, they can give you some herbs to help your cycle as well as the acupuncture Good luck!
