Basic O question.

Could I please clarify what time period passes between O and AF?
Is it really 14 days or does it vary?:icon_question:

In a perfect world it is said to be 14 days but in definitely can vary. I would say the average "luteal phase" (the time between ovulation and period) is anywhere between 10-16 days. If it is any shorter than this, this can cause problems and you need to get some medical assistance.

Thanks for that Danni,
I am suffering the tail end of the TWW and O'ed later than last month so trying to work out if the cramping and discomfort are AF or preg. Cycles are usually 30 days but I have had a cycle 38 days before, I am so frustrated and desperately trying not to test too early and avoid the disappointment of BFN.
Very proud though, my first month of not manically POAS!!! I have managed to hold off for the first time.
