Watery, watery CM on Day 11

Hi All,

Need a little advice...

I'm on Day 11 of my cycle and I am having copious amount of watery cervical mucous.

I had a pap smear today and even my GP comment at how much was there.

Could I be o'ing already????

I did have some of what I thought was ovulation pain yesterday but thought it was way to early.

HELP!!!!!

Oh and my cycle has been 27-28 days...

Very possible you could O day 11, it could also be your body preparing for O. Fertile mucous is normally around for a few days before and after.. How strange of your Dr to comment!! Not sure how i'd feel about that?? lol

Hi Sara,

The early pain could be follicle development, as usually the watery CM turns to thick and stretchy like the whites of chook eggs. The best way to know for sure is to use LH surge detection methods from CD7 until you see the positive. You can buy the ov detection sticks cheaply on ebay or oztion. It can also depend how long your luteal phase is that will determine your ov day.

A 28 day cycle with 14 day luteal phase would be 28-14= ov day 14.
A 28 day cycle with 16 day luteal phase woul be 28-16 = ov day 12.

the luteal phase is the number of days between ov and next AF. Start keeping a calander of AF and chart when you see the LH surge then count back from CD1 to back when you saw the positive surge and that will give you your luteal phase.
