What is the best time of day to do an OPK?

Basically as it says I want to know what is the best time of day to use an OPK test? I thought the FMU but have recently seen a post that suggested afternoon urine... So in your experience what is the best time for an OPK?

This is an interesting one...I have always read the mid morning to mid afternoon was best. As long as the urine was a strong (no drinks for a couple hours prior). But, at the moment I am testing every day under instructions from my IVF clinic. They say FMU is best.

So in summary, I dont really know!

I tend to buy the internet cheapies in bulk, and do 2 tests a day - one around 10am and another around 4pm. Sometimes if I forget to do the morning one, I do a 2pm and then 6pm. I have had it before where I got a positive in the morning and a negative later that same arvo, so I'm sticking with my twice a day routine!
On the OPK pack's instructions it says not to use FMU, that's only reason why I don't use it.

bahahaha N@lose! then we are in exactly the same boat! I have googled and it says between 10 and 2pm.. as long as you haven't been drinking too much water to dilute it, but there are so many mammas around here with experience that I thought I would ask. Thanks for commenting tho

hmmmm....I am using a pretty snazzy brand (as provided by clinic). It is called Seratec. Perhaps it's just FMU for that particular brand???
