Sounds like a spike to me! A temperature rise indicates ovulation. This rise should be consistent for three or more days in a row. Usually about 0.3C or more. The day of ovulation is the day before the temp spike. Ovulation is confirmed (usually) when you see three temperatures above the previous six temperatures (allowing for one day to not fit the pattern).

    HTH!
