What's going on.... A little help please?

HI all,
Needing some answers hoping someone out there in BB land can help. Well I'm due for my period on the 6th of this month and I haven't had any of my normal pre-period cramping,bloating or spotting.
This morning when I went to the toilet (sorry if this is a case of tmi) I noticed a small a amount of brown/pinkish mucus, is this the start of my period meaning no baby this cycle? or could it be something else?
If my period doesen't arrive when it's due how long would you wait before doing a HPT?

You could do a HPT test the day your period is due OR you could get a First Response Early detection and do it now. If you do one now though and it is negative it doesn't mean it's over, it still could be too early, but they are pretty reliable normally..The stained mucous could be from implantation, but also could be the start of your period.. You could test now with an early response test. It would probably be accurate.
