When is the absolute earliest i can test?

with my DD i got a faint BFP at 10 DPO. I am currently 8 DPO and the suspense is absolutely killing me! I HAVE TO KNOW!!

We aren't technically 'trying' but haven't been exactly been careful either, we live with the "if it happens it happens" but every month i have myself worked up that i am but this month is different. I had cramping (like with DD), REALLY tired, sore back, extremely snappy/moody and i dont even realise i am, sense of smell is better (well worse with the ones iv been smelling, gone off foods. We had lunch yesterday and my last bite of my chicken nachos tasted a bit off and i almost threw up.. and dinner last night we had rocket in our salad and i couldnt eat it even though the few nights before were fine..

There are a few that i dont remember having which are headaches, sore ALL over my body and dull chest pains front and back.. i can breathe fine and they arent there when im walking only when sitting... any insights??

Wait a few more days if you can or if you can't buy a multi pack so you can at least retest in a few days

DP had to pry me away from the chemist yesterday!

I'll wait until wednesday.. or maybe go straight and see a doctor..

Truth is you are unlikely to get a BFP any earlier then 10dpo, and often not before 14dpo. BUT sometimes some people may get one as early as 8dpo.

I had an addiction myself and would test from 1dpo But I would buy internet cheapies, and I still didn't get my BFP any earlier. Be careful that you aren't going to get too caught up in the result though if you are testing early. It can be really heartbreaking getting BFN day after day, even if it down turn into a BFP later. Especially if you are doing the same thing month after month.

I got a super dooper faint line on 8DPO and a better one on 9DPO and a darker one on 10DPO. So it is possible to get one that early though Ide be waiting as long as u possibly can ( i know, thats hard!!). Wednesday seems a good day

i got my BFP at 8DPO using first response and it was that dark i could have tested a day or 2 before and would prob have got a faint one....

in saying that, i know that wont happen for everyone, i was super lucky!

be warned the doctors tests aren't as strong either. I had 17 positive HPT's (including one digital) before I went to the doctor, but got two negative urine tests there (at 15dpo) and a negative blood test!!! (went home and pee'd on 3 more HPT's, just to make sure - all positive).

A negative blood test too misty? Wow, unlucky!

I got a strong positive opk at 9dpo (someone had told me they double as pregnancy tests and sometimes work better earlier - they do!!) so tested straight away at 9 at night and got a faint positive. Didn't get much stronger for 3 or 4 days but it was a definite bfp good luck!

I got a faint second line in the evening at 9DPO with this pregnancy. It was very faint but was very much a second line. Good luck. BTW - I used first response.

I got a faint line at 8DPO.

I used the purple ones.... I think they're called Midstream Clear or something like that. They're purple! hehe
