Question When does my TWW begin?

Firstly my cycles are 44 days long, this is my first month TTC.

MY OPK confirmed on Friday and Saturday that I was ovulating. Today the test line was lighter than the contol line. I assume that means that I am no longer ovulating and my TTW starts? Does it start from today? My period is not due for another 3 weeks.

Thankyou for any help with this!

    Deanne.

    Makes sense Ruf... thanks

It all looked to hard Ali. I did sign up.

I have tried tracking temps but I kinda forget and I am up and down all night (Matilda sleeps 12 hour, unfortunatly I don't!) and you have to do it at the same time each day and after at least 3 hours sleep right?

I noticed the EWCM last month on CD25 and this month it seems I o'd on CD22 (per OPK) - but I haven't noticed any EWCM... argh! it is all to hard. Thats why I tried these OPK's!

Is it all to hard? Ali? Help!

I got myself into a routine. Even if I didn't have to be up at my usual wakeup time, I would have the alarm set, and take my temp and then roll over and go back to sleep.

If you know you will always be up at a certain time to put Matilda's feed through her tube, you could set that as your temp taking time. They do recommend 3 hours sleep, but if you are only up to switch her pump's alarm off then you are likely to be still half asleep and not really disturb your sleep IYKWIM.

Give it a try for a month or 2, and if it gives you decent cross hairs, and seems to line up with the other signs (OPK, CM, Libido, Cervix position) And do the course it send you, that really helps

The TWW starts from Ovulation... so if O is Saturday, then Sunday is 1DPO (day post O) and so on. Most people have 14 days from O to AF, hence TTW.
HTH, and good luck in your TTC journey!!!
