Lightbulb Whitish, lotion, smooth like discharge after ovualtion?

    Hi guys,

I was hoping you could help me out with a question. So this arvo I was pumping away on the cross trainer when I felt rather wet/thick down there....anyway I discovered white, smooth, lotion like discharge and am wondering if this could be a early sign of pregnancy or did you experience this symptom resulting in a pregnancy?

I am 11 days away from testing at home (Finished ovulation yesterday) but dying to know if DH and I are on the right track. Thing is I have no sore boobs which I have read is a very early symptom but does everyone get that?

    Appreciate it.x

I get a similar discharge just after ovulation. Always have done.

Same. Creamy CM is common as a lead up to ovulation and afterwards.

Thats right - its just a form of infertile mucus.

    *bump*

Can I ask- is this creamy mucus more likely to occur just before or just after ovulation? I have been reading up on the Billings Method which stipulates the peak fertile time is the last day of mucus of any sort (ie not necessarily the day of the most mucus) which would mean the non-fertile creamy stuff comes before O? Or not...

Hi Ladylove in my experience, kinda both - it goes creamy, watery (or EWCM if I'm lucky!), then creamy again after O - though I tend to have a 'dry' day/few hours afterwards.

Not sure about the Billings method but sperm would find it pretty difficult to swim through the thick creamy stuff.

    Different for everyone though...

    Good luck with TTC x
