The Year of the Wine Glut

I read somewhere recently that there was a wine glut coming and many wine sellers were probably going to find it hard to sell their product.

This got me to thinking, because the last time I was pregnant there was a glut. With so many great deals on through the wine club I bought mountains of wine - somewhere late in pregnancy I looked at our little stash and thought, well I should really stop buying now. I honestly can't remember how much there was, but I had boxes stacked up in the corner...My placenta-addled brain even pondered digging a cellar in the back yard... Dh didn't think it was such a great idea.

So I reckon maybe this is a sign! Right?! I'm going to get pregnant again, in The Year of the Wine Glut.

Great theory! I reckon my DH would have gone for a wine cellar. Just after we bought our house, we looked at another one which had a little wine cellar underneath & he talks about it all the time.

Yeah, well it was probably because he would have had to do all the digging. Plus it's a rental.

LOL, I read that as year of the wine GUT, which is probably still true for all those taking advantage of it
